Dreamscape
I’ve always had a thing for silhouettes. The mystery and drama of an unknown figure in dramatic light is just so intriguing to me. I incorporate them into all aspects of my work (maybe you’ve noticed?).
During our Covid lockdown, which feels like a dream in itself, US1 Highway – the only road in and out of Key West – was completely roadblocked. It was a surreal experience, a usually bustling island of tourists so serene and quiet. The stillness felt like stepping into another world, and I used this time to create images like this. They were born here, but the series is ongoing and ever changing.
Quietly cinematic, these photos are meant to feel like stills in a dream.

A Walk in Loja, Ecuador
I love exploring new cities. Whenever I travel, I carve out time to wander – no agenda, just a camera. Loja’s pastel-toned streets drew me in right away; the warmth of the color palette inspired a film-like approach.
Shooting in this context is very therapeutic for me: no deadlines, no pressure – just observation.
